Let me start this post by saying that I appreciate the people who have taken the time to visit and even retweet the things they find on this blog. Thank you for your continued support.
I have too many irons on the fire, currently, so I am in the process of turning a few of those fires off, temporarily, so that I may focus on other projects that I have, essentially, been neglecting (for instance, I’ve been working on some polymer clay jewelry, but I haven’t really had time to photograph it so I can put it up for sale).
This blog and the social media activities required to (try) and keep it relevant have taken up so much of my time, that I have not been able to focus on the real reason that I started this blog in the first place; to make crafts and put them up for sale, and publish a book (or two) of poetry for sale.
Since this blog has not been a productive revenue stream, I am going to take a few weeks off to work on some other commercial ventures, since I am desperately in need of a secondary income.
I’m keeping my Cafepress shop up and running and I will pop in from time to time to blog. I do not intend to give up writing. It’s the air that I breathe, but so is crafting, but I can only do so much.
I’ll be back in a few weeks, but in the meantime, feel free to click through the header menu on the blog and check out the other things that I have been working on.
Thank you for your continued support.
