Some things you likely never wanted to know about DizzyDezzi but will be afraid you asked.
I like to eat and I’m not ashamed to admit it. There are things that I will never eat (namely, because I’ve tried them and didn’t like them: (cough) eggplant, (cough) beets.), but there are some foods that I can’t live without. I may not eat them every day, but it’s rare that I can go more than a few months without indulging the following ten foods (not in any particular order).
I love eggs in just about every form: deviled, scrambled, omeletted, benidicted, and my most favorite, sunny-side up or (at least) over-easy.
The spicier the better. You better believe I won’t be waiting on any tailgate parties to indulge, either. Besides, I can finish off 20-pieces all myself. No tailgate could accommodate me.
I don’t care much for fried, but baked, grilled, or barbecued, I’m all in.
I didn’t think I’d like it, when I was first introduced to it on my 31st birthday. But, having tried it, I immediately liked it. It’s fun indulging in the different textures and flavors of slivers of fish and rice. Unfortunately, I’m no good with chopsticks, so I eat my sushi with my fingers.
Simple to eat, simple to make, cheesy and yummy. Add some chicken or beef and I’m stuffed.
Hot French Fries
Not just any old french fries. Piping hot french fries. Anything less turns off my taste buds, which is why I prefer to make the, myself, at home, if I can help it.
I love bacon, in just about any form, but I really love peppered bacon.
Peanut Butter Shakes
I love peanut butter. I love shakes. Put them both together and I’m infatuated, despite my lactose intolerance.
Fully Loaded Nachos
The messier, the better: heavy on the sour cream, guacamole, and tomatoes, please.
White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies
If you gotta ask, you just don’t understand our love. If done right, these cookies are a mouthful of love and nothing you can say or do would ever tear us asunder.
Do you have a favorite food that you can’t live without?
