Welcome to my 400th post!
(Tosses confetti in the air)
I know some of you will reach this post and go, “Meh.” But, this is progress for me. In the past couple of years, I’ve started blogs, committed to keep them up-to-date, and eventually leave them sitting cold and alone on the interwebs.
There are a couple of reasons that those blogs are out there rotting somewhere and, for the most part, the reasons are psychological. One, namely was, the classic, writer’s block. The other was out of an irrational fear, of something that was actually happening, that I let get to me, instead of ignoring it, as it deserved to be.
When I started blogging in the space, I determined to blog, no matter what, no matter if I have readers, no matter if I even have anything worthwhile to say, no matter if I have writer’s block. I vowed to #doitanyway. I blog to overcome that irrational fear, I blogged to help me improve my ideas and my writing. I’m not as good as other blogs that I envision emulating, but I’m not bad and that’s just fine for me.
