Does this hat make me look snoody?

This is the original that was commissioned a few years ago. I am currently in the process of crafting a similar commission with some slight modifications, but with the same yarn.

This was the first time I had even considered crocheting anything that looked like socks. It was small enough to get me to try it. It turned out to be so easy that I made half-a dozen of them for my friends and coworkers, at the time.

I know. I know. This stocking is not going to win any beauty contests, but, man, can you fill it with lots of candy and maybe a small trinket or two.

A few winters ago, I learned how to crochet snowflakes and obsessed over them. I decided to gift them, but I had no idea how, so I learned to crochet stockings and attached the snowflakes to them (and filled the stockings with holiday candy.

Ta-da! Perfect holiday gift.
